Not (So Much) Narcissistic Self-Centeredness -- Instead (More-Like) a Universal Thought or Feeling

The irony of the saying, on the above t-shirt, is really, a brilliant paradoxic play-on-words. We, as humans, tend to see ourselves in others, and project our thoughts and feeling onto them.

Who hasn't wished that others would stop getting so much of the attention, and the focus should be (more so) on oneself?

Stubborn People May Sometimes Be Right -- But I'm Not Always Right

If everyone who thought that they were always right, were -- actually right, there would be a lot more harmony and cooperation in the world, instead of arrogantly near-sighted people. (But then-again -- I'm not always right; or could I be, this one time?)

(Just shedding some light, on the topic of narrow-mindedness.)

The Ego and Finding a Happy-Mediam

We all have needs and desires, that we rationally gravitate towards, rationalize away, or impulsively jump towards. The Id; The Super-Ego; and The Ego, are parts of the psyche apparatus that have different roles, in our mind-set and behavior. The video above, shows how the three different parts of the psyche apparatus influence our behavior, in a simple (yet informative), fun-little-cartoon demonstration.

(Guess that the primal "Id" may prompt the first impulse/thought; the Super-Ego may be equated with the conscience, and it's up to the Ego to balance and find a happy-mediam.)
